A lovely Mothers Day weekend

It started on Saturday. Mum and Dad came down for the weekend and we took the girls to the local school fair. It was nice and they got to do everything they wanted too, which was

1. Ride a pony

2. Have some fairy floss

We also saw all the stalls, they got a Princess showbag each, won some jewellery on a game, saw a clown show and saw some of the classes perform. Overall a fun day.

Then Sunday was a lovely day. Mum and I got to go to Spotlight (with only one child in tow!). My brother and his partner came up for the day too. We had a BBQ lunch. I was very spoilt and got all that I asked for (a sleep in :) - a rice cooker, a baking tray and a toolbox lol. Very impressed with all of it. We spent the afternoon outside playing Rummikub and catching up.

It was a very tiring day for a little girl who just turned 18 mths old 2 days ago :(
